We are extremely proud of our achievements to date, with notable recent successes including (as at 12 April 2019):
- being awarded the trophy for the “Most Successful Tasmanian Exhibitor”at the 2008, 2014 and 2016 Royal Hobart International Wine Show(s);
- being awarded 31 trophies, including the Trophy for “Best Pinot Noir” at the 2018 Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition for our 2016 Reserve Pinot Noir and the Trophy for “Best Tasmanian Red Wine” at the 2018 Royal Hobart Wine Show for our 2017 Pinot Noir; and
- being awarded over 740 show medals in wine shows across Australia and overseas.
James Halliday, author of the James Halliday Australian Wine Companion, has said of us:
“Until 1990 the Bream Creek fruit was sold to Moorilla Estate, but since then the winery has been independently owned and managed by Fred Peacock, legendary for the care he bestows on the vines under his direction. Freds skills have seen both an increase in production and outstanding wine quality across the range, headed by the Pinot Noir. The list of trophies and gold, silver and bronze medals won is extensive. Freds expertise as a consultant is in constant demand.”
We consider our reviews and awards as reflective of the quality, hand made cool climate wines being produced by us (and others) in Tasmania. You can find the full listing of the reviews and awards for each of current release wines in the respective tab in our secure online store here.
