If you’re a member of our mailing list, you’ll know that our Riesling (made from the oldest commercial vines in Tasmania at 43 years of age) is a regular award winner, and the 2015 vintage is no exception.
We’ve recently learnt that it was awarded 55.5 points out of 60 and a gold medal at the 2016 Boutique Wine Awards in Sydney (Class 3), with the trophy winning wine receiving only 0.5 mark more! So close! The very next day, we found out that our Riesling had been awarded 4 stars in the July/August edition of Winestate Magazine, with the judges stating “The vibrant citrus nose has lovely hints of rose petals. Gorgeous long silky palate supported by a good juicy acid backbone.”
We’re very pleased with these results, which are on top of our 2015 Riesling being awarded 95 points by Wine Showcase Magazine in April. If you’re interested in more details, click here.
